IFF is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Sales team as Safety Officer. This role is based in Maharat, Ayutthaya, Thailand and will report to Operations Manager, Thailand.

Your focus

To ensure, control, execute and manage all Occupational Safety, Health & Environment activities and ensure compliance both internal and external regulation.

How You Will Contribute

• Ensuring compliance with the Occupational Safety, Health & Environment regulation and policy
• Prepare report documents as required by law and record the investigation of accidents and diseases caused by work
• Issue annual plan and/or project on work safety for management approval
• Update, follow up & report on EHS in accurate & timely manner
• Establishes and revises an emergency safety plan, evacuation plan, and safety manual
• Monitor & update all regulation concerning Occupational Safety, Health and Environment
• Advise and recommend solutions, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures to ensure that all operation activities in group company is met with local EHS standards
• Support training program to enhance EHS awareness of all group company
• Other jobs related to safety and/or facilities as per assigned

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Engineering or related field
• Certified Occupational Safety Officer at Technical Level, High Technical Level or professional level from Ministry of Labor
• At least 2 years experiences on EHS in manufacturing
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and other related standards
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Able to work independently
• Good communication and cooperative skills
• Good command in written and spoken English
• Good at observing, analyzing, and reporting
