Description
LSB Industries, Inc. (Pryor, OK) to be responsible for providing technical support in performance, reliability, and operations of the compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal), pumps (reciprocating and centrifugal), fans, and blower in multiple plants; checking variables of equipment key performance, maintenance plans, and support in the workshop; providing field support for pre-commissioning, commissioning and starting the equipment; and participating in investigations about failure in Rotating Equipment, using Root Cause Analysis for increases reliability performance and preventing new failure or events. Must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related. Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience in the position offered or related in the steel and power generation industries. Must know (through academic training or work experience) machinery vibration data analysis; and CMMS (including SAP). Must hold Vibration Analyst: ISO Category III certificate and SKF Certified Machine Inspection certificate. Must be willing to travel 50% of the time to facilities in El Dorado, AR and Cherokee, A
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Physical ability to work around and on industrial equipment, including frequent climbing of stairs and ladders. Willingness to work around dust, chemicals, high pressure, high temperature, loud noises, and running equipment. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toed boots and hearing protection).
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of experience with industrial rotating equipment in a plant environment
- Knowledge of Industry Standards (i.e. API, ASME, PIP, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priority items.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office
- Good communications skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated work experience in a similar role.
