The Technical Services Specialist plays a vital role, both in the Applications and Development Lab and also interfacing with customers at their locations around the United States and performing routine change outs of Norit activated carbon. As the face of the company with the customer, you'll have the opportunity to experience the many different uses and applications of Norit Activated Carbon.

Job Responsibilities:

When not traveling the Technical Service Specialist will operate in the A/D Laboratory to provide analytical results of spent carbon samples. They are also responsible for providing installation supervision and assistance to customers and analytical support to the manufacturing facility regarding process changes and new raw material qualification.

As the Technical Service Specialist you will also have regular opportunities to interface with Norit's sales team by performing treatability studies to assist in selecting the right activated carbon to fit the customer's need.·

Requirements:

Two years performing technical analysis in a laboratory is required for this role. A strong mechanical background combined with extreme flexibility, superior organization, problem-solving and critical thinking skills all play a key role in assuring your success in this position.

Previous experience providing service to customers, immediately addressing needs in isolated situations and maintaining a positive solutions-oriented approach to challenges is essential.

Preferred:

· Experience in activated carbon process and applications.
