Job Title: Computer Programmer IV

Location: RAE Corporation Pryor, Oklahoma

Position Type: Full-time. This is an in-person position, though hybrid schedules will be considered.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Computer Programmer IV to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing web and Windows-based software, primarily using Microsoft technologies. While experience in the HVAC/R industry is desirable, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Software Development:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web and Windows-based software applications.
  • Utilize Microsoft frameworks and technologies to build and enhance software solutions.
  • Ensure software meets performance, quality, and security standards.

2. Collaboration and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

3. Technical Documentation:

  • Contribute to technical documentation and training materials.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft frameworks (e.g., .NET, ASP.NET, MVC).
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, VB.NET, and SQL.
  • Experience with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the HVAC/R industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The position is conducted primarily in an office setting, with occasional exposure to a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
