Description

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the oversight of the Specialty Function for the US and Canda. Provide Human Resources leadership for an organization with multiple locations. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Lead Human Resources Business Partner works strategically with leadership to successfully execute national corporate initiatives within the division.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
  • Plan and direct all aspects of the organization’s human resources policies, objectives, and initiatives
  • Acts as a strategic resource to senior leadership on HR initiatives, programs, and issues
  • Maintain proficiency, including HR Staff, in all current employee-related laws including ADA, FMLA, Sexual Harassment, Title VII, etc
  • Develop and mentor HR Staff
  • Ensure policies and procedures are up to date, legally compliant, and are followed by employees and managers
  • Analyzes and maintains HR Policies & Procedures to ensure governmental compliance


QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Org Development – Advanced degree preferred

Experience
At least 7 years HR Leadership experience required - PHR or SPHR preferred

Skills
Experience working with attorneys, COE’s, and senior leadership

Decision Making Authority

  • Maintain proficiency in all current employee-related laws including ADA, FMLA, Sexual Harassment, Title VII, etc
  • Manage employee claims and litigation in conjunction with internal and external counsel
  • Manage the HR department budget
