Fabricator/Welder duties at TCI Manufacturing are to build, MIG weld, and assemble. When building a project, the employee receives a book of prints that have all the details to complete the job, such as measurements, part numbers and location. Fabricators do a variety of work at TCI that has a range of motion from standing, kneeling and crouching while building a project. Fabricators also walk frequently throughout the day to gather parts to finish a build. Fabricators/welders are expected to wear the proper PPE when welding such as welding helmet, jacket, gloves and steel toe boots with a met-guard. Assembly would consist of putting the finished product together after paint. When jobs are complete from paint booth, the assembler will gather the painted parts and ordered components and assemble the job completely or sections are ready for shipping. Fabricator/Welder Assemblers are expected to learn safe and proper operation of forklift, telehandler and yard crane.
