Williams Construction Company, an established and growing company celebrating its 69th year in business, is seeking a Mechanical Piping Project Manager / Estimator to join our Company. Our Company performs critical and complex construction and maintenance projects in Northeast Oklahoma facilities. We are seeking for immediate employment a Project Manager/Estimator to perform all aspects of a mechanical piping Project including assistance in estimating projects, scheduling projects, and job site management

Primary Responsibility:

Your primary responsibility is to control project safety, time, cost, and quality of mechanical piping projects. Plan, estimate, and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including limited estimating responsibility, job site budgeting controls, subcontract management, Jobsite quality control, and working with owners, engineers, architects, and vendors.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform daily inspections of work at the project to ensure all work is in compliance with construction documents.
  • Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating a commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others. Investigates safety incidents and assists in the retraining of staff as needed.
  • Monitor work performance and productivity of craft employees to ensure project rules, schedules, etc. are maintained.
  • Ability to develop, recruit, and retain a skilled workforce.
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment capabilities.
  • Assist in planning work schedule, determining manpower requirements, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
  • Creates, manages, changes, and implements the project’s schedule as needed, in conjunction with the Leadership.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring project budget and costs by using the project management system’s cost reports and data from the company software systems, as well as managing and negotiating change orders.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Ensure the project site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Perform, in conjunction with Leadership, weekly project work coordination meetings with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers.
  • Monitor the installation and startup of mechanical piping systems and commissioning of the project with the Engineers & Owner.
  • Utilizes awareness, experience, and knowledge to identify problems and recommends solutions for review and implementation by the team.
  • Assumes responsibility for management, scheduling, production, quality, and safety on projects or a portion of projects.

  • 10 + Years In Mechanical piping systems estimating and project management.
  • Broad experience in manufacturing and heavy industry sectors.
  • Supervise review and coordination of submittals and shop drawings.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Must have competent computer skills
  • Thorough understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, and Plumbing Codes.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common, technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to obtain all proper and required licensing to perform mechanical piping projects.


Starting salary based on experience $80k to $110k/yr. Company vehicle, fuel card, and cell phone provided. Year-end bonus plan. Full benefits package including 401K with matching, family medical paid 100%, paid vacation/personal time off, and 7 paid holidays. Must be willing to undergo background evaluation and drug test evaluation.
